3D multimediaTapio Anttila has over fifteen years of experience in mobile technologies and over 25 years of experience in multimedia and networking technologies. Tapio specializes in strategy consulting and business development consulting in the digital media domain. He is also specializing in cross-border deals in Internet and wireless technologies for companies in Europe and Latin America who have an interest to enter the US market. Finally, Tapio has built a deep understanding in software outsourcing and represents a Ukrainian provider to complement his service portfolio.
Tapio’s prior engagements include a major go-to-market initiative with NVIDIA’s new real-time 3D cloud rendering platform called RealityServer(R). Priorto that, he led a long-term engagement at Macromedia (now part of Adobe), to build and direct its mobile content initiatives. As a part of this engagement, Tapio negotiated content licensing agreements with a number of big and small media companies from major news providers such as CNN into smaller niche players in sports, horoscopes and other lifestyle content. Additionally, he has worked for clients in Asia Pacific and Europe, exploiting his extensive network of contacts, built during the period while working at Ericsson.
Prior to joining Brauning LLC, Tapio was a co-Founder of Crisp Wireless, a leading platform technology company in the mobile content industry. Before that, Tapio spent 6 years at Ericsson, as Director of Business Development of 3G Media for the US market (based in New York), focusing on mobile entertainment and Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) issues. Beginning in 1996, Tapio’s title was Chief Evangelist and he was charged with getting Ericsson to embrace the Internet. Prior to joining Ericsson, Tapio spent four years in Paris selling videoconferencing solutions and building a European trade show on the subject. Tapio holds a Master of Science in Operations Research (Department of Technical Physics) from the Helsinki University of Technology. Tim Meyer is the CTO and co-founder of DirectNu Energy, a Silicon Valley system integrator and Cleantech consultancy. With over 25+ years of professional experience, he has managed international product development and technology adoption across a wide range of stakeholders including senior management, investors, customers, vendors, management consultants, developers and engineers. Axel was also in charge of creating strategies for DT’s verticals and created international partnerships with companies from the innovation and online arena. Prior to that he was Design Strategist at IDEO, the innovation powerhouse where he created strategy and software experiences for clients from the online, wireless and entertainment space. Axel also built up MTV Europe’s digital unit and launched MTV’s first digital channel already in the mid-nineties.Being an early inventor in digital media Axel conceived of and produced the very first fully interactive TV station in 1992 introducing audiences through out Europe and Japan to interactive media even before the dawn of the Internet.
